Welcome to the Captain Nicholas Schade Whitlock Foundation. On behalf of Nick’s family and friends, we are excited and passionate about launching this foundation. We have great expectations for the future of this foundation, and we know that many lives will be touched.
We are excited to be able to provide two scholarships to deserving applicants. In 2013 we awarded the first Nicholas Whitlock Leadership Scholarship, and we hope to award the first Nicholas S. Whitlock Memorial Scholarship in 2014. The Nicholas Whitlock Leadership Scholarship is awarded to a deserving Newnan High School senior. The Nicholas S. Whitlock Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a student attending Mercer University, Captain Whitlock’s Alma Mater.
