The Fallen Heroes of Georgia 5K is coming up on Saturday, March 12, 2016. This is an annual race created to honor and remember Georgia’s fallen soldiers who died while serving their country in the Global War on Terror. Signs individually representing each of the 228 Fallen Soldiers line the entire race course, and all proceeds from the race benefit the Whitlock the Foundation and other charities created in honor of a fallen Georgia soldier.
