The Fallen Heroes of Georgia 5K/10K is March 15, 2014. This is an annual race designed to honor those fallen soldiers of the Iraq and Afghan wars. All proceeds go toward charities created to benefit the fallen soldiers, and this year, the Whitlock Foundation has been added to the list of benefitting charities. Last year we had a small group participate in the race, and this year we would love to bring a larger group. If you are interested in running you can sign up online here. We ask that all those who sign up to also contact us through email (nswfoundation@whitlockfoundation.com) or Facebook to let us know you will be attending on Nick’s behalf. Whether you run, walk or simply line the course to cheer the participants on, we appreciate all your support for Nick, the Foundation, and all the families of fallen soldiers.
Update 5/15/2014: We are excited to share that the Captain Nicholas Schade Whitlock Foundation received a $5,000 donation from the Fallen Heroes of Georgia Race. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation for all of those that organized, volunteered and participated in this event. All donated funds will go directly to fund the Nicholas S.
